Practising Artist and Entrepreneur Alyce Cameron is the owner of Marigold Classic Arts -The Home of Art Lovers. Her (many) specialties include portrait drawings, murals, wall paintings, face painting and body art, leather art, textile design, hand craft and illustrations.
Alyce attended the Winfer Gardens Primary School, followed by North Ruimveldt Multilateral School. She then progressed to the E.R Burrowes School of Art, where she earned the coveted role of Valedictorian in 2019. Alyce would later become an Instructor at her alma mater, after pursuing a Degree in Fine Arts at the University of Guyana.
Alyce’s work has gained local and international recognition, particularly from her 1 st place entry in the Bravo Arts Face Painting Competition in 2018 and honourable mentions in Republic Bank’s Annual Drawing Competitions. Her work has also been featured at trade shows in Guyana, Suriname and Barbados. Alyce also happens to be a talented poet and songwriter in her (rare) spare time.
Her objective in life is to leave a visual statement and legacy in the art world, and hopes to have an Art School one day, designed to help persons heal through the arts.
